Saudi Foundation Day
Saudi Foundation Day is the anniversary of the founding of the Saudi state, which falls on February 22 of each year.
On January 27, 2022, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a royal decree that February 22 of each year will be a day to commemorate the anniversary of the founding of the Saudi state, in the name of Foundation Day, and become an official holiday, and witnessed the assumption of Imam Muhammad bin Saud's rule in Diriyah and many achievements during his reign. Foundation Day is considered a national occasion to cherish the firm roots of the Saudi state, and to recall its establishment more than three centuries ago, and what it has achieved in terms of unity, security and stability, and its continuation in construction, unification and development.

The visual identity for Foundation Day is called "Yom Badina", which carries various historical meanings associated with the glories, heroism and antiquity of the Saudi state. In the center of the logo appears an icon of a man holding a flag, referring to the heroism of the men of Saudi society and their rallying around the flag that protected it, raised it and defended it with dear life and treasure
The identity icon is surrounded by four symbols The palm tree, which signifies growth, life and generosity; the falcon, which is a symbol of magnanimity, nobility, pride and freedom; the Arabian horse, which is the element that displays the horsemanship and heroism of the country's princes and braves; and the market, referring to economic mobility, diversity and openness to the world
